My dearest, oldest friend Sallie. We grew up together in Henleaze Bristol, and we got up to so much nonsense, like the many times we scaled the walls of the convent…. to retrieve some item that Sallie had left at school or the time we scaled the big, posh school wall to scrump some Apples, only to be met by the local policeman, a big ,tall man, waiting to scold us and send us home and a warning that if he ever found us again ( up to no good,) he would escort us home and tell our parents what we had got up to.!! Dear sweet lady, such an amazing friend, lifelong in fact as we managed to scale the years and remain in touch. She was my Bridesmaid and I made one of her family Wedding Cakes which was a hobby for many years. I too am an old lady now but I will treasure the memory of such a special lady.
Chrissie Owen.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
